Jamaican educational support initiatives

Overview

Charitable organizations across Jamaica have launched various initiatives to provide educational support to students ahead of the new academic year.

Early efforts included the National Education Trust’s Back-to-School Pop-Up Village in St Elizabeth, which provided uniforms, school supplies, and medical services to approximately 800 students. In St Thomas, the Smile Saver Foundation also distributed essential resources and provided oral-hygiene education to over 200 students.
