Ještěd transmitter and hotel technical inspections

Overview

Technical inspections were conducted on the Ještěd transmitter and Mountain Hotel in the Liberec Region to prepare for future reconstruction of the national cultural monument. Experts identified water penetration through gaps in windows, ventilation grates, and air conditioning units, noting that previous repairs had been damaged by falling ice.

The Liberec Region, which acquired the site for approximately 185 million CZK, intends to perform urgent repairs before winter to stabilize the building. These immediate measures include tightening structural bolts and applying new sealing elements ahead of a comprehensive reconstruction.
