Juve Stabia financial and sporting crisis

Overview

Juve Stabia is experiencing a multi-faceted crisis involving legal, financial, and sporting sanctions. The Guardia di Finanza seized approximately 153 million euros in tax credits from construction companies linked to former owner Alfredo Guerri, following allegations of illicit use of Superbonus 110% incentives.

In response to these investigations, the judicial administrator of the club’s owner, Domus Srl, dissolved the Board of Directors to ensure management autonomy. Alfonso Morrone has been proposed as the new president.

Simultaneously, the Federal National Tribunal penalized the club with two additional points in the league standings due to a failure to provide documentation regarding financial stability and honorability during an ownership transfer. These sanctions bring the club’s total penalties to four points, placing them at the bottom of the standings.
