Overview

In contrast, road reconstruction on Ežero and Rasytė streets in the Klaipėda District has faced setbacks. Construction was halted following the discovery of hundreds of illegal rainwater sewage pipe connections within the road trench. Because the original design did not account for these unauthorized connections, a project correction is required. Consequently, the completion date for these local works has been extended from autumn 2026 to the end of 2027.
