Korea Tourism Organization souvenir promotion

Overview

The Korea Tourism Organization initiated a campaign to promote ‘K-goods’ by selecting 25 winners from the ‘2026 Representative South Korean Tourism Souvenirs’ competition. The contest saw record participation with 1,358 entries. Notable winners included a Bangjja Yugi tableware set, which received the Presidential Award, and various items such as traditional fans and Jeju anchovy seasoning.

Following the selection, the organization transitioned to showcasing these award-winning products at The Hyundai Seoul in an exhibition themed ‘Korea Select 25’. The initiative aims to expand market access for domestic and international consumers, with selected products becoming available for permanent sale in ‘The Hyundai Souvenir’ shop-in-shops.

To support global expansion, the organization is pursuing collaborations with Lotte Duty Free and the National Museum Cultural Foundation, alongside assistance for entering international platforms like Amazon. A large-scale tourism souvenir fair is scheduled to take place at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza from November 20 to 22.
