The LP-2 road variant project in Fuencaliente, La Palma, recently underwent a procedural reset. Initially, the Government of the Canary Islands declared the expiration of public information and consultation procedures for the road section between El Remo and La Zamora. The proposed infrastructure aims to improve connectivity between Los Llanos de Aridane and Fuencaliente to support island recovery. The plan involves a coastal variant of the LP-2 highway featuring two 4.8 km unidirectional tunnels. Interested parties now have 30 business days to submit inquiries or observations regarding the updated documentation.
