Overview

In late July 2026 Larvotto Resources reported that its Hillgrove antimony‑gold operation in New South Wales had entered the staged commissioning phase, moving ore through crushing and screening circuits and targeting annual production of about 4,900 tonnes of antimony and over 40,000 oz of gold for a seven‑year mine life.

A week later the company announced that the first batch of ore had been processed through the plant’s jaw crusher and secondary crushing circuit, with fine‑ore storage now operational. This milestone followed a year of refurbishment. Larvotto also sought regulatory approval to double the plant’s throughput from 250,000 to 500,000 tonnes per year and to convert to dry‑stack tailings, positioning the mine as a key supplier of critical minerals for domestic and export markets.
