Levante UD youth recruitment

In late July 2026 Levante UD announced the signing of 16‑year‑old French winger Zadig Bendiab from the Dunkerke academy on a contract until 2028 with two optional extensions, planning to split his time between the Juvenil A side and the reserves.

A week later the club added 19‑year‑old Belgian forward Yanis Musuayi from Club Brugge on a five‑year deal. On 2 August Levante confirmed the contract runs until June 2030 and the transfer fee is reported at around €3 million. Musuayi progressed through the youth systems of AFC Tubize, FCV Dender, KAA Gent, KSC Lokeren and KMSK Deinze, made his professional debut for Deinze in 2024, and then appeared for Club Brugge’s reserve side Club NXT, logging 44 Challenger Pro League matches with seven goals and six goals in ten UEFA Youth League games. He has also represented Belgium at under‑18 and under‑19 levels. Coach Luis Castro expects Musuayi to compete with Cameroon international Etta Eyong for a place in the starting lineup.

The Musuayi signing follows the departure of striker Carlos Espi to Real Madrid, which triggered a €25 million release clause; Espi later published a farewell letter thanking Levante for his development and the support of its fans. Both signings illustrate Levante’s strategy of securing young, promising players on long‑term contracts to strengthen the squad ahead of the new La Liga season.
