LG CNS and LG Electronics business developments

LG CNS has focused on strengthening its operational framework and expanding its market presence through technological investment and certification.

The company obtained ISO 37301 international certification for its compliance management system, covering core areas such as artificial intelligence, cloud services, and data centers. This certification aims to bolster risk management and trust amid increasing regulatory complexity in AI and data protection.

Financially, LG CNS reported record third-quarter revenue of 1.66 trillion won, a 9.3% year-on-year increase. This growth was largely driven by the AI and cloud sector, which accounted for 58% of total revenue. To support future competitiveness, the company announced plans to invest approximately 380 billion won in tangible assets to secure GPUs for AI factory operations.

In a related development within the LG group, LG Electronics reported significant growth in its third-quarter 2026 results, with consolidated revenue reaching 23.82 trillion KRW and operating profit of 781.9 billion KRW. A primary driver for LG Electronics has been the expansion into AI data center cooling (AIDC) solutions, where cumulative orders exceeded 3 trillion KRW by the end of the third quarter. To address this demand, the company plans to invest 220 billion KRW to upgrade production facilities and expand capacity, including establishing a strategic industrial base in the United States near major AI data center clusters.
