Linda Hamilton Terminator franchise response

Overview

Actress Linda Hamilton has expressed her refusal to return to the ‘Terminator’ franchise. Following reports that director James Cameron is writing a seventh installment focused on a new generation of characters, Hamilton initially reacted with humor and surprise, stating, “I’m out,” during a promotional interview.

She later clarified her position, stating she has nothing left to say regarding the role and describing the saga as being ‘done to death’. Hamilton noted that while the Hollywood industry relies heavily on remakes and reboots, she intends to move on from the character of Sarah Connor following her last appearance in the 2019 film ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’.
