Lockheed Martin Black Hawk support in Australia and the Phli

Overview

Lockheed Martin is expanding its support and training capabilities for Black Hawk helicopters in the Indo-Pacific region.

In Australia, the company has partnered with Rosebank Engineering to enhance the sustainment network for the Australian Army’s UH-60M fleet. This partnership focuses on providing maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for various aircraft systems through facilities in Victoria and Queensland to increase domestic industrial capability.

In the Philippines, Lockheed Martin has entered into a Direct Commercial Sale contract with the Department of National Defense to provide advanced training systems for the Philippine Air Force. The agreement includes an S-70i Black Hawk Full Flight Simulator, a Virtual Maintenance Trainer, and customized courseware. These tools are intended to allow pilots to practice emergency responses and technicians to practice repairs in a risk-free environment, supporting the nation’s defense modernization and reducing the need for personnel to train at the United States-based Sikorsky Training Academy.
