Logitech class action lawsuit over tariff refunds

Logitech Inc. is facing a class action lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California regarding alleged failure to refund consumers for price increases driven by import tariffs.

The legal action follows a February 2026 Supreme Court decision in Learning Resources, Inc. v. Trump, which ruled that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) did not authorize the specific tariffs in question. Plaintiffs allege that Logitech increased prices for approximately 51 percent of its products—including mice, keyboards, and webcams—by as much as 25 percent in April 2025 to offset these costs.

While the U.S. government has begun issuing refunds to manufacturers, the lawsuit claims Logitech has retained these reimbursements. Specifically, the company reportedly received $61 million in tariff refunds, which were included in its fiscal year 2027 first-quarter results, but the company has allegedly failed to pass these savings back to consumers through credits, refunds, or price reductions.
