Lotte Group retail and shareholder initiatives

Lotte Group has introduced new consumer and investor-focused initiatives in South Korea. Following a period where foreign sales at Lotte Department Store surpassed 1 trillion won, the company partnered with Lotte Card to launch the ‘Lotte Department Store Tourist Membership X Check in Seoul’ card. This prepaid electronic payment tool provides foreign visitors with discounts at approximately 70 affiliated merchants, including Lotte Duty Free and Lotte Mart, while offering transportation card functionality and L.Point accumulation.

Expanding its service offerings, Lotte Shopping announced the ‘L. Honors Club’, a shareholder benefit program scheduled to begin on November 1. This program allows shareholders to receive discount coupons for use across various retail platforms and e-commerce sites. Long-term investors holding 1,000 or more shares for at least one year are eligible for premium benefits, such as access to department store lounges and valet parking. The company stated the initiative aims to diversify shareholder return methods and secure long-term investors, noting that similar systems are common in Japan.
