Daly reportedly told investigators she believed the act was ‘worth it’ to ensure the father and his relatives would never see the child again. Under a plea agreement reached in the Sixth Judicial District Court, Daly faces life in prison and will be eligible for parole after serving 30 years. As part of the agreement, a child abuse charge was dismissed.
