Marantz entry‑level hi‑fi launch

Marantz announced a new entry‑level hi‑fi line consisting of the Model 70 integrated amplifier and the CD 70 CD player. The first snapshot, dated 15 July 2026, detailed technical specs, pricing (€850 for the amp, $750 for the player) and highlighted market availability: the amp would not be sold in North America while the player would. It also noted launch dates of 15 August 2026 and described design features such as a Class A/B design, HDAM circuitry, HDMI ARC and expanded Bluetooth codecs.

The second snapshot, published 27 July 2026, reiterated the launch but added Japanese market pricing (¥143,000 for the amp, ¥110,000 for the player) and a launch date of 28 August 2026 in Japan, with a silver‑gold finish only. It referenced a UK review that listed the amp at £749 and the player at £499, noting the products would still be unavailable in the United States at launch. The later note emphasized the same technical upgrades – new ESS DAC, discrete analog circuitry, HDMI ARC and Bluetooth – while pointing out the emphasis on markets with stronger consumer demand.
