Maritime incidents and rescues in São Paulo

Overview

Between August 14 and 16, the Maritime Firefighters Group (GBMar) reported several maritime incidents along the São Paulo coast, including 13 drownings and 16 rescues. The highest concentration of these events occurred in Guarujá, followed by Itanhaém and the northern coast.

Additionally, authorities launched a search for a 39-year-old crew member who went missing from a fishing vessel near the Alcatrazes Archipelago in São Sebastião.
