Maritime safety restrictions in Italian ports

Overview

Italian port authorities have implemented various maritime safety restrictions and navigation bans in response to local events and hazardous discoveries.

In Sambenedettese, a 200-metre security perimeter was established around a fireworks installation for the Festa della Marina, prohibiting navigation, fishing, and swimming. These restrictions include a total ban on vessel navigation, transit, and mooring within 200 metres of the launch site at the Molo di Ponente, alongside land-based prohibitions on transit and parking near the pier.
