Overview

The funding is composed of ₹84.55 crore from the Union Ministry of Tribal Affairs and a ₹9.40 crore contribution from the Meghalaya government. The total estimated requirement for verified applications this year is ₹198.42 crore. Transfers are being conducted via the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) method using the Single Nodal Agency (SNA) system, which allows the Reserve Bank of India to transfer funds directly to beneficiaries' accounts.
