Menofia governorate public service and infrastructure works

Major General Amr Al-Gharib, Governor of Menofia, has undertaken several initiatives to address infrastructure and public service needs within the governorate.

In late September, the Governor launched the second phase of the ‘We Are All With You’ initiative in Tala. This focused on resolving a sewage crisis in Kafr Rabi village, where residents reported that issues with treatment plants and groundwater caused stagnant water to damage homes and agricultural land. The Governor ordered the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company to expedite repairs and directed officials to provide financial aid and medical assistance to vulnerable families.

By October, the Governor’s activities expanded to include inspections of healthcare facilities and urban improvements. Following a nighttime inspection of the Shebin El-Kom Specialized Surgery Hospital to ensure the availability of supplies, the Governor awarded 70,000 EGP in bonuses to medical staff. Additionally, he inaugurated renovated public squares in the East Shebin El-Kom district as part of broader urban infrastructure enhancements.
