Overview

The July 22 blast at a Chalco workshop and the July 29 explosion at the family‑run Pirotecnia El Venado in Ocotepec, Morelos, have together killed two people and injured several others. The Ocotepec incident destroyed the building, killed a woman and injured at least two other residents, including a child with burns and a man with a head injury. Civil protection, firefighters, the Red Cross and security forces treated the victims and provided crisis‑intervention support to about ten local residents.
