Overview

In early August 2026, officials in Mexico and Argentina began rolling out new measures aimed at curbing youth gambling and digital‑media addiction. A public forum in Mar Chiquita, organized by regional health ministries, also examined the risks of digital gaming and other problematic digital consumptions. Together, these actions illustrate a coordinated regional push to strengthen legislative, educational and health‑service responses to youth addiction across Mexico and Argentina.
