The plot develops as Lali joins a group of thieves specializing in the theft of sacred religious art. Led by a former nun named Rosario, played by Eulàlia Ramón, the group operates with a communal purpose, functioning similarly to a modern-day Robin Hood organization by using stolen proceeds to support vulnerable community members neglected by the state.

Gurrea noted that the film was inspired by observing closed churches in his neighborhood, which he described as being “like a safe full of treasures.” The production utilizes meticulous sound design to explore themes of faith, death, and urban community.
