The first individual, identified as 56-year-old Karen Lynn Sognesand of Maple Grove, was found on a Saturday evening in a wooded area near East River Flats Park and the Mississippi River.

A second body, described as being in a “severe state of decomposition,” was discovered on Sunday morning near the shoreline of Bde Maka Ska.

A third body was located on Monday near the Stone Arch Bridge by the University of Minnesota Police Department.
