Missing child search in Granollers, Spain

Overview

Following the disappearance of 12-year-old Rami in Granollers, Spain, on October 4, emergency services launched an intensive search operation. Approximately 470 personnel, including specialized units from the Mossos d’Esquadra, Bombers de la Generalitat, and various volunteers, focused efforts on an agro-forestry area southeast of the urban center.

Search teams utilized drones, canine units, and underwater specialists to navigate the area between the railway tracks and the Ciutat de Granollers hotel. Authorities noted that the boy, who has autism, may be disoriented. While the disappearance occurred during a period of heavy rains and flooding in the Vallès Oriental region, officials initially did not establish a direct link between the weather and the disappearance.
