Moldovan wine export market trends

Overview

During the first seven months of 2026, Moldova’s bottled wine exports maintained a significant presence in the European Union, which represented 61% of the market.

Data from the National Office of Vine and Wine indicates that while export volumes decreased by 16% compared to the same period in 2025, the total value of the 61.5 million liters exported fell by only 5%. This was due to an 8–15% increase in average export prices for bulk and bottled wines. Additionally, the value of brandy and distillate exports rose by 22% to $34.7 million.
