MSÚSZ leadership transition

Overview

The Association of Hungarian Sports Journalists (MSÚSZ) underwent a leadership transition following an extraordinary general assembly. András Borsány-Gyenes, CEO of Network4 Media Group, was elected as the new president.

The change follows the resignation of the previous board, led by György Szöllősi, after a period of internal tension. While a July vote of no confidence had previously upheld the presidency, the entire board resigned in September to facilitate new leadership. Former leaders Szöllősi and László Pajor-Gyulai were appointed honorary presidents. The new administration intends to implement a membership revision to ensure the association represents active sports journalism professionals.
