Murder investigation of Eliana Bigoni in Plano

Jake Bigoni, 37, has been arrested and charged with murder and abuse of a corpse following the death of his estranged wife, Eliana Bigoni, in Plano, Texas. The incident occurred while the couple was undergoing a divorce.

Authorities initiated a welfare check after Eliana’s mother and a friend reported she had missed a scheduled meeting and was unresponsive. Upon arriving at the apartment, officers noted a large stain on Jake Bigoni’s shirt, which he claimed was from cleaning, though investigators later identified it as blood. Significant blood spatter was also found inside the residence.

The investigation escalated after Jake Bigoni’s mother informed police that her son had called her, allegedly stating, ‘I have something to tell you. She’s dead. We got in a fight and she’s dead.’

Following this tip, investigators searched the apartment garage and discovered Eliana’s body inside the trunk of a white Hyundai. Officials noted she had sustained severe injuries to her head and face. The couple’s two young sons, aged two and five, were present in the home during the incident but were reported to be unharmed and were removed from the residence by officers.
