Overview

A 55-year-old Frito-Lay employee, Paris Carlock, was killed early in the morning while conducting product inventory in the chip aisle of a Sam’s Club in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department reported that the fatal shot was a stray bullet that pierced the metal exterior wall of the warehouse store on the 1300-block of Antioch Pike. The gunfire is believed to have originated from a dispute that began inside Lavo Lounge, a nearby bar. Although security staff had escorted the individuals involved out of the lounge, the argument reportedly continued outside.

The Homicide Unit has launched an investigation into the incident. As of the latest reports, no arrests have been made.
