The 3rd National Lok Adalat of 2026, organized by the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), facilitated the settlement of over 2.10 crore cases across India, involving a cumulative value of ₹13,589.28 crore.

Regional outcomes varied significantly. In Nagaland, the initiative maintained an 87% disposal rate, resolving 387 out of 444 cases for a total of ₹5,25,66,901. Specific successes included Kohima settling over ₹1.93 crore and Dimapur settling ₹1.71 crore. In Jammu and Kashmir, more than 23,000 cases were resolved with settlements exceeding ₹176 crore, while Cachar saw 1,052 cases settled involving ₹13.53 crore.

In Telangana, the Lok Adalat disposed of over 4.2 lakh cases and disbursed ₹266 crore to litigants, which included ₹42.29 crore in refunds to cyber fraud victims. Additionally, the Nanded-Waghala City Municipal Corporation collected over ₹5 crore in property tax through the process.

Previously, similar sessions in Madhya Pradesh addressed approximately 4.30 lakh cases through 1,427 benches, covering disputes such as bank loans, electricity bills, and motor accident claims. These proceedings are characterized by the return of court fees to parties upon successful settlement and the finality of decisions, which carry no provision for appeal.
