Netflix adapts 'This Summer Will Be Different

Netflix announced that it will adapt Carley Fortune’s bestselling romance novel *This Summer Will Be Different* into a ten‑episode series. The first announcement detailed the series’ setting on Prince Edward Island and in Toronto, named Dane Clark and Linsey Stewart as creators/showrunners, and confirmed lead actress Sophie Nélisse along with Francesca Reale and Roby Attal in supporting roles. A few weeks later, Netflix confirmed that production had begun on the series in the same locations.
