Directed by Félix Viscarret, the series stars María Valverde, Martiño Rivas, Maribel Verdú, and Gonzalo de Castro. Described as a tribute to classic mystery literature in the style of Agatha Christie and Arthur Conan Doyle, the production utilizes a cinematic style reminiscent of old Hollywood and a 1950s aesthetic.

Following its release, the series has been noted as part of a successful wave of Netflix miniseries adaptations. ‘The Final Problem’ has achieved a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
