Netflix releases Tamil series ‘#Love’
Overview
Netflix has released the Tamil romantic comedy series ‘#Love’, which premiered on October 2. Directed by Balaji Mohan and produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth via May 6 Entertainment Factory, the series stars Aishwarya Lekshmi and Arjun Das.
The narrative focuses on the professional and personal rivalry between the founders of two competing dating applications. Lekshmi portrays Tara, the leader of the compatibility-focused app ‘FOUND’, while Das plays Matthew, a flamboyant investor and co-founder of ‘Find My Bae’, which prioritizes romantic chemistry.
The plot is driven by a personal bet in which the two characters agree to use each other’s respective apps for 60 days to determine which matchmaking method is more effective. Through this ‘opposites attract’ narrative, the series examines themes of modern connection, friendship, and ambition in the digital age. The production is available in multiple languages, including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
