Educational and medical initiatives regarding neurodiversity and inclusion are being implemented across Latin America, focusing on support for neurodivergent individuals and specialized training for professionals.

In Brazil, discussions in Goiás emphasize the necessity of better support systems for educators and children with ADHD. While municipal authorities in Goiânia offer bonuses for postgraduate studies, regional programs often prioritize funding for training over direct salary incentives. Despite specialized programs offered by the Federal University of Goiás (UFG) and the Federal Institute of Goiás (IFG), low professional engagement remains a challenge. Similarly, in Tamaulipas, Mexico, a congress for CONALEP educators integrated training on artificial intelligence and didactic innovation alongside neurodivergence and mental health to better adapt technical professional education to current student needs.
