Nexo Studios faith‑film series in Italy

In late July 2026 Nexo Studios announced the launch of a faith‑focused cinematic programme titled “I Misteri della Fede”. The series is scheduled for Italian theatres from 15 to 21 October, opening with the documentary “Carlo Acutis. Il giovane santo”, which recounts the life of the recently canonised digital‑era saint using family archives and unpublished material. Production partners include Officina della Comunicazione, Mediawan’s Our Films, the Associazione Amici di Carlo Acutis and Fondazione Cariplo.

A few days later, the municipality of Assisi publicised an immersive VR cinema festival at the Rocca Maggiore garden, while also reaffirming the “I Misteri della Fede” schedule. The festival showcases 360° short films alongside classic titles, but the Nexo Studios series itself remains unchanged, with the Carlo Acutis film set to open the October run. Both releases underline a coordinated effort to explore spirituality and the human‑divine relationship through cinema in Italy.
