Overview

Nigeria has initiated a series of strategic efforts to overhaul its homeland security framework. The initiative seeks to align state spending with actual defence needs and identify capability gaps across various institutions. The resulting five-year plan is intended to be a rolling document subject to annual reviews to address evolving security challenges and technological advancements.
