Nigerian military operations in Yobe and Plateau states have resulted in the arrest of suspects linked to insurgency, kidnapping, and illegal arms trafficking.

In Yobe State, troops conducting Operation HADIN KAI arrested two men suspected of serving as Boko Haram informants and logistics suppliers for nearly seven years. The arrest followed the abduction of a local doctor. During the operation, authorities recovered an AK-47 rifle, a revolver, and military gear. Investigations are currently underway to establish links between the seized weapons and regional kidnapping or arms trafficking networks.
