North Macedonia e-Services Center expansion

Overview

North Macedonia is expanding its network of e-Services Centers (ETU) to improve citizen access to digital public administration. In September 2026, the 17th center opened in the Chento neighborhood, part of an initiative to bring electronic services to those unable to use digital portals from home. Minister of Digital Transformation Stefan Andonovski reported that service usage increased from approximately 1,300 services in 2025 to over 13,000 to date.

By October 2026, the 18th center was inaugurated in Strumica. This facility provides residents with access to 350 services from the National Portal for Electronic Services, including citizenship certificates, criminal records, and vital records. To further support accessibility, the government has planned the deployment of mobile vans for remote areas and digital skills training for public administration employees.
