Northeast India space technology development

Overview

The Northeast India Space Workshop 2026, organized by the Space Industry Association of India (SIA-India) and the North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC), was held in Guwahati to promote the region as a hub for space technology development and a commercial gateway for the Global South.

Future initiatives are planned for Tripura to identify state-specific needs for space-based technologies.
