Overview
The cities of Novi Travnik and Osijek initiated the ‘Bridge of Friendship’ project to strengthen their formal partnership established in 2022. Organized by branches of Matica hrvatska and the Faculty of Philosophy at Josip Jurja Strossmayera University in Osijek, the program was designed to showcase the cultural, historical, and economic aspects of Novi Travnik.

Cultural activities included demonstrations of traditional folk costumes, musical performances by accordionist Marko Plavčić, and a monodrama titled ‘Queen Katarina Kosača’. Organizers characterized the meeting as a successful foundation for future joint projects and strengthened relations between the two cities.
