Overview

In early August 2026 Sagres returned to Portuguese waters, offering open‑day tours on Terceira Island (Praia da Vitória) and later in Ponta Delgada. The visits were paired with cultural programmes, a play, and round‑table discussions. From early September the ship supported the 107th anniversary of the Portuguese Maritime Police in the Azores, featuring demonstrations, environmental clean‑ups, concerts and a concluding ceremony on 13 September.
