ONE SAMURAI Featherweight Kickboxing Tournament

Overview

The ONE SAMURAI Featherweight Kickboxing Tournament semifinals were originally scheduled to feature a match between Luo Chao and Marat Grigorian at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo. Luo Chao, a fighter on a six-fight winning streak, was expected to compete for a spot in the final.

However, Grigorian advanced to the tournament final without competing after Luo Chao was disqualified for missing weight during official weigh-ins. Grigorian expressed that he felt “angry, frustrated, and deeply disappointed” by the situation. Following the disqualification, Grigorian observed Masaaki Noiri defeat Mohammad Siasarani via split decision. Grigorian is set to face Noiri in the tournament final to determine the challenger for the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Championship.
