Oregon collegiate women’s soccer season

The University of Oregon women’s soccer team opened its 2026 season with a 3-0 victory against Portland State at Hillsboro Stadium. Following a scoreless first half where the Ducks outshot the Vikings 11-3, Oregon scored three goals in a ten-minute period during the second half. Carly Cormack recorded two goals—the first in the 55th minute assisted by Shiloh Baird and the second in the 59th minute following an assist from Abella Hunter—while Baird scored the final goal in the 65th minute with an assist from Cloe Chase. Head coach Tracey Joyner attributed the win to successful second-half adjustments.

Oregon continued its momentum in a rivalry match against Oregon State at Papè Field, securing a 6-0 victory. The Ducks dominated the match with a 22-5 shot advantage. Ellie Felt opened the scoring with a 27th-minute penalty kick, and Logan Russo added two goals before halftime to establish a 3-0 lead. In the second half, Cloe Chase scored in the 59th minute following a cross from Miya Alamares to finalize the score. The match highlighted a disparity between the programs, noting Oregon’s upward trend compared to Oregon State’s scoring struggles.
