In Chiquinquirá, Colombia, the ESE Hospital Regional hosted the ‘Corre con el Corazón’ recreational race, attracting between 850 and 950 participants. The event focused on promoting healthy lifestyles and encouraging individuals to communicate their donor intentions to their families.

In Mexico, the Secretaría de Salud and the State Transplant Center (Ceetra) organized the ‘Por Amor a la Vida 2026’ 4K recreational walk in Chihuahua to commemorate National Organ and Tissue Donation and Transplant Day. Approximately 500 people participated in the event, which combined donation advocacy with public health services, including vaccinations and screenings for diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and HIV.
