Also in August, the Goiânia Symphony Orchestra scheduled a “Cinema in Concert” performance at Teatro Goiânia for August 26. Conducted by Eliseu Ferreira, the program features film soundtracks by composers such as Hans Zimmer, Richard Strauss, and Miklós Rózsa, including music from “Jurassic Park,” “Gladiator,” and “The Lion King.” Admission requires a donation of 1 kg of non-perishable food for social programs managed by the Goiânia City Hall.
