Oshkosh Defense international military contracts

Overview

Oshkosh Defense has secured multiple international contracts to provide specialized military vehicles.

In Morocco, the company received a follow-on order through Optimum Vehicle Logistics, LLC to support the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces. This order includes 50 Heavy Equipment Transporter (HET) A1 tractors and 50 MN573 heavy-duty trailers, intended to modernize the military’s ability to transport heavy armored platforms like main battle tanks and self-propelled artillery.

Concurrently, Oshkosh Defense has begun prototype production for the ‘Kaaiman’ patrol vehicle for the Netherlands Royal Marine Corps. Based on the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) platform, the Kaaiman is designed for maritime and expeditionary operations with enhanced corrosion protection and mobility. The Netherlands Ministry of Defence has contracted for 150 vehicles, with deliveries expected to start in 2028.
