Ostrava shooting range development

Overview

A new modern shooting range has opened in the Hulváky district of Ostrava. Developed by the municipal company Vítkovice Aréna on a former brownfield site, the project cost approximately 150 million CZK and took 1.5 years to complete.

The facility features three separate indoor ranges for rifle, pistol, and air rifle shooting. To mitigate noise for the surrounding area, much of the complex is constructed underground, with only air rifle and gas weapon shooting permitted above ground. The center is intended to serve professional athletes, national representatives, para-shooters, youth clubs, and the general public.
