Pakistan diplomatic outreach on Gaza and Jerusalem

In late July 2026, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held telephone talks with Egypt’s and Jordan’s foreign ministers. The three officials coordinated an Arab‑Islamic diplomatic response to the Gaza war, condemned Israel’s military actions in Gaza, the West Bank and at the Al‑Aqsa Mosque, and discussed convening an emergency meeting of Arab and Islamic states to present a unified stance, reaffirming support for a two‑state solution based on pre‑1967 borders.
