Palestinian Cabinet humanitarian and political warnings

The Palestinian Cabinet has issued repeated warnings regarding the deteriorating humanitarian and political situation in the Palestinian territories. In late August, the Cabinet highlighted a hunger crisis in the Gaza Strip, noting that four out of five families face critical or catastrophic hunger levels due to aid restrictions. They also called for international pressure to stop the E1 settlement project, which they stated has moved toward practical implementation through tenders for settlement units east of Jerusalem.

By mid-September, the Cabinet intensified its calls for international collective action to halt what it described as occupation crimes. The Cabinet reported continued escalations in the West Bank, including hundreds of attacks and the demolition of numerous Palestinian facilities. They warned of efforts to erase Palestinian presence through displacement, movement restrictions, and economic strangulation. Furthermore, the Cabinet expressed ongoing concern over the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, specifically citing starvation, siege, and the destruction of essential infrastructure such as sewage networks.
