Panini Comics is launching a new comic anthology series titled ‘Spider-Man: Meals to Astonish – Cucina Da Eroi’, which integrates the Marvel Universe with high-end gastronomy. The project is scheduled to debut at the Lucca Comics & Games 2026 festival.

The series features Tuscan chef Cristiano Tomei and his Lucca-based restaurant, L’Imbuto, in a story titled ‘L’imbuto del caos’. In this installment, written by Marco Rizzo with art by Giuseppe Camuncoli, Roberto Poggi, and Mattia Iacono, Marvel characters such as Iron Man and the Avengers visit the restaurant. The comic depicts the chef and his culinary team as characters while retaining their real names and professions.

This initiative follows previous installments in the ‘Meals to Astonish’ series, such as ‘Meals To Astonish: Avengers #1’, which featured chef José Andrés and highlighted the humanitarian work of World Central Kitchen.
