In late July 2026, Paraná’s agricultural agencies launched a series of free training and innovation events aimed at strengthening the state’s fruit and cheese sectors. The Technological Fruit Jornada in Quatro Pontes offered hands‑on demonstrations for a wide range of crops, while the Inova Queijo 2026 conference gathered producers, researchers, and officials to share advances in artisanal cheese production.

Within days, reports highlighted the tangible outcomes of these initiatives. The Maringá region emerged as the state’s fourth‑largest fruit‑producing area, cultivating 27 species over 4,600 ha and generating a gross value of R$ 415 million in 2025, with oranges and grapes accounting for the bulk of revenue. Meanwhile, dairy families in Southwest Paraná continued formal succession training, echoing earlier capacity‑building efforts and ensuring the next generation is equipped with modern livestock management skills. Together, the events and the production data illustrate a coordinated push to boost technical knowledge, innovation, and competitiveness across Paraná’s fruit and dairy industries.
